Choose your favourite photo and win a Canon IXUS 300HS

SWAV coaches participated in the inaugural "Bloggers in Big Shoes" Charity soccer match last sunday. The players had great fun playing against SAFFC, the reigning S-league champions. Even with huge clown shoes, we managed to match them stride for stride (of course, the pros were gracious enough to let us win the match). In the process, we managed to raise funds which will benefit the kids from Santuary House. Check out http://bloggersinbigshoes.com/ for the reviews!

We are grateful to our main sponsor, Canon, for supporting the event and making the match possible. In conjunction with the spirit of giving, Canon is giving everyone a chance to win a Canon IXUS 300 HS. Simply log on to http://www.surveymonkey.com/s/KHGGVGD and choose your favourite photo! Contest ends 31st August. Who knows? you might be the next big winner!

Bloggers in Big Shoes takes on SAFFC in a charity match on 25th July

SWAV is proud to be part of a wonderful group called "Bloggers in Big Shoes", and we will be participating in a friendly 6-a-side match to raise funds. Our opponents? SAFFC, the reigning S-league champions! But that's not all. The daunting challenge would be to play in big, "clown-like" shoes! Well, it’s all in the name of charity!

"Project Baby Love" aims to create awareness and raise funds for Santuary House, a noble organisation which provides foster and medical care to babies and children who have been physically-abused and abandoned. Babies with black eyes. Children with broken bones. Young ones abandoned by their parents. It’s sad to hear that such stories actually exist in Singapore. We feel this is a personal call to do our part for these unfortunate babies, and what better way to do it than through our expertise. For more information on “Project Baby Love”, log on to:

Catch the action on 25th July, 10am to 12.30pm at Sports Planet East Coast.
